About the Role

We are hiring an Application Support Engineer in Chennai with expertise in Spring Boot and exposure to Java Full Stack Development. In this role, you will act as a software detective, ensuring smooth operation of mission-critical business applications by identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, enhance system efficiency, and deliver reliable application support for enterprise-level systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues across enterprise applications and microservices.
• Monitor system health, proactively identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), taking ownership of tasks and driving resolutions independently.
• Collaborate with software development and support teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Assist in designing and implementing software enhancements to improve system reliability.
• Document incidents, fixes, and process improvements for future reference.

Required Skills

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot development.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer / Java Developer.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
